A native Houstonian, Andrea was raised in Venezuela and later in Boca Raton, Florida before returning to her home town. Andrea received her Bachelor of Arts with High Honors in 2009 from the University of Texas at Austin where she devoted her free time to charitable work abroad in Central America. While completing her undergraduate coursework in Austin, Andrea clerked with the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, an organization of Texas plaintiff’s lawyers whose shared vision believes that everyone is entitled access to our courts and that no one is above accountability. Andrea is inspired by the meaningful ways by which lawyers can impact lives and remains dedicated to a practice where she can serve and protect consumers against injustice.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Andrea returned to Houston where she embraced the opportunity to clerk at a well-respected plaintiff’s firm. Not long after, Andrea earned her law degree from Baylor Law School in 2014. During her time at Baylor Law, Andrea was a member of the Order of the Barristers and the pro bono litigation team and participated in the school’s pro bono immigration clinic. Andrea frequently uses her Spanish speaking abilities and background to represent Spanish-speaking clients in various types of cases.
Since graduating law school, Andrea continues to fuel her passion to help others with purpose, sincerity, and commitment. Before joining PMR Law, Andrea gained invaluable experience specializing in personal injury and product defect litigation at the Ammons Law Firm. Andrea’s practice included product liability, vehicle defects, industrial accidents, trucking and auto accidents, catastrophic injury suits, and cases involving tire de-tread, rollover, or airbag defects in both federal and state courts throughout Texas and across the United States.
PMR Law ultimately persuaded Andrea to join our team where she is an invaluable part of our operation. Andrea is known around the office for her immense knowledge of Texas personal injury and wrongful death law and for her intense drive and focus.
Andrea remains dedicated to a practice where she can help others who are suffering from what is often times the most traumatic event in their lives and believes compassion, empathy, and zealous advocacy form the basis of a successful relationship with each and every client.
